Work with me
Bringing the benefits of Positive Psychology to your business.
Intervention that gets people wanting to turn up and do their best work every day. Looking at everything from mindset to meaning and purpose, we’ll build resilience and adaptability, and look at how we can use strengths to everyone’s advantage.

Working to continue the theme of building a coaching mindset, resilience, and adaptability, we’ll also focus on how we can make strengths compensate for weaknesses, and assess the importance of action centred leadership and leading with stories in the workplace.

My work with organisations doesn’t just focus on your current workforce. It positively impacts future recruitment, too. Positive cultures, psychological safety, and strengths-based recruitment all take the lead to bring about true strategic alignment and communication.

Bringing Positive psychology to financial services
Meet Jon Dunckley.
Having literally written the book on Financial Services, I now work with organisations rather than for them… in the role of Positive Psychologist.
My work (training, workshops, and keynote speaking) plays a key role to motivate teams, develop leaders, and work across whole organisations to boost resilience, challenge mindset, and apply the principles of positive psychology in the pursuit of personal development and professional excellence.
Financial Services is a challenging sector to work in. You’re here because you already know that.
Why should you work with me?
I speak your language
You need someone who speaks the language of Financial Services. Having worked in this busy and challenging sector for 30 years, I understand your people, your processes… and your problems.
I see both sides
You need someone who knows the sector and the science. I understand the business, and I understand the brain. It’s a competitive combination for your organisation as you look to overcome challenges.
I walk (swim / run / cycle) the talk
You need someone to help you shape the FS sector for the better. As a 4x Ironman finisher, I know the power of positive psychology when striving for greatness. I’ve been there, done that… and worn the lycra.
I don’t just speak at audiences - I connect with them. Through stories and science, and through emotion and good humour, I help people see themselves, their people, and their problems in a new light. I don’t just work to change the way they think - I work to change the way they adapt, too.

Keynote speaking for organisations that want to create change.
Insightful. Honest. Human.
I speak internationally on leadership, resilience, and the psychology of performance for Financial Services clients. Every talk is designed to leave audiences thinking, laughing, and (hopefully) inspired to make meaningful change. It’s professional development… with a personal touch.

Trusted by financial organisations worldwide.
Positive Psychology isn’t just a ‘nice to have’. It’s necessary. And that’s why Financial Services professionals and organisations all over the world trust me to help them bring about positive change.

People are complex, but Jon has a unique ability to help us understand ourselves and more importantly how we maximise our strengths and characteristics. Our people have improved and as a result, so have the experiences and outcomes of our customers.
Matt Halksworth - Head of Later Life Lending

The switch in mentality not only improved their individual mindset, it made them a better and stronger team, which in turn improved overall performance and productivity considerably.
Les Pick - Sales and Operations Director

Attending Jon’s masterclass in Leeds was an eye-opening experience. The practical strategies and examples on how the brain works were invaluable. Jon is not frightened to challenge the norms and brings a fresh approach
